"When I do release the shutter, it is climactic. It means that I have documented a unique moment in a real place. Unlike painters and digital artists, I do not want the advantage of manipulation. For me the challenge of ‘straight’ photography is creating art from fluid moments and found subjects. The necessary requirements are a good eye, good lenses, a good printer and good luck.
